Summary:
The Stradi PX4 tube is made based on the original PX4 specifications.


The PX4 vacuum tube is one of the most well-known European models of direct heated triodes. Especially in the UK, PX4 tubes were produced in large numbers and were widely used and loved by people.

The maximum plate dissipation factor is 15 Watt which is the same as the 2A3 or AD1. (For reference, the plate's maximum dissipation factor was initially 13 Watt, but later improved to 15 Watt.)
However, the amplification factor is 5.0, which is higher than 2A3 or AD1, and for this reason, the unique sound of PX4 was created.

Since the amplification factor is high, it is easy to design an amplification circuit when used in an audio amplifier.
Also, it has been used in many kinds of audio amplifiers and radios due to its easy circuit design and moderate power output.

The Stradi PX4 tube follows the above specifications, but makes some improvements using Ladder-Type FrameGrid, the End-Loss Minimization structure, and the use of Open Filament to produce clearer sound with low distortion throughout the entire frequency range.
