Eb

Summary:
The Eb is made in Korea using Siemens Eb specifications.

The Eb tubes are the second model of the German E series tubes and are not very commonly known to people.
The Eb tube specifications are also not easy to find because it was used only in the tele-communication field.

Regarding the specifications, this vacuum tube is very similar to Western Electric’s 300B, which is already well known to people. The difference is that the Eb tube has an amplification factor of 3.2, which is lower than that of the 300B - 3.9 - and uses a FrameGrid with Open Filament structure to produce a very neutral, clean and tight bass sound with suppressed harmonics.

The Stradi Eb tube was developed by faithfully following the Siemens' Eb structure. Siemens' Eb is made of FrameGrid, and Stradi Eb tube uses a Ladder-Type FrameGrid by further improving the structure.
In addition, Siemens' Eb tube uses an Open Filament structure (both ends of the filament protruding out of the plate) to avoid end-loss effects that inevitably occurs at the filament ends, and Stradi Eb tube reproduces this as it is, so listeners can see the glowing filament tip outside the tube.

Available in matched pairs, quad sets, and singles.
