 The Stradi RS242-H is based on the Stradi RS242 and is designed to have a higher amplification factor.
Stradi RS242-H is NOT 100% compatible with Telefunken RS242.

 This model has been improved to reduce microphonics, which is the most problematic in pre-amps using DHT tubes.

 We have developed and tuned this product for over 5 years. We hope listeners can fully focus on the music without microphonics, especially in pre-amps using DHT tubes.
All vacuum tubes we provide are improved for audio purposes, but this model especially has been made to enjoy music with wonderful sound.


The Stradi RS242-H is based on the Stradi RS242.
It is designed to have a higher amplification factor.

The Stradi RS242-H is NOT 100% compatible with Telefunken RS242.

The -H in RS242-H stands for "High Amplification Factor".
Generally, when you use RS242 tubes in preamps or drive stages, you can often find that the amplification factor is insufficient.
In particular, the mu of RS242 is often insufficient in transformer coupled preamps.
Therefore, we developed RS242-H with higher mu than RS242.
For instance, if there are problems caused by insufficient overall gain in preamps, you can easily solve it by using RS242-H.

The Stradi RS242-H tube is extremely suppressed in generating microphonic, which is the biggest problem when using a direct heating tube.
If you use the Stradi RS242-H tube, you can focus on music without thinking of microphonics in DHT Phono Amp or DHT PreAmp, which was previously considered impossible to use.
