DA30

Summary:
The Stradi DA30 is made based on the original DA30 specifications.


The DA30 tube is made by lowering the amplification factor from the PX25 tube. By lowering the amplification factor, its internal resistance is lowered and it is possible to produce higher output than the PX25 tube.

However, as the bias increased, the difficulties of the voltage amplification design also increased. For this reason, in relation to the amplifier circuit, past manufacturers such as Osram recommended using the DA30 as a Push-Pull circuit rather than a Single Ended circuit.

The DA30 tube can produce a similar power output of the Western Electric's 300B. However, with the low amplification factor, its sound is clearer with suppressed harmonics.

The Stradi DA30 tube has been made with the same internal specifications according to the relationship between PX25 and DA30 described above.

However, for better sound quality, several improvements were applied without identical copying the previous model.

In particular, to reduce the distortion that inevitably occurs during amplification, we use our own Ladder-Type FrameGrid and Minimization of Filament End-Loss structure. By applying these improvements, clearer sound and wide frequency characteristics were achieved.
